Authority is a right and duty parents have that entails a deep knowledge when putting it into practice so as to live justice, responsibility, and a spirit of service.

For parents with children from 11 to 13 years old

During puberty, children experience some psychosomatic changes that affect their sensibility and their behavior. This is united to aggressive external influences.

In this course, parents analyze the causes and effects of such changes and they study the most appropriate guidelines to maintain a firm and down-to-earth relationship with their children, without limiting their natural discovery of the world.

This course is for parents with children from 13-16 years of age. Parents will study factors and methods to provide guidance and support during these early teen years. 

In the teen years, many of the values transmitted by the family during childhood can begin to dull, be contrasted with other values, or be validated.

In the Adolescence Course, parents discover the value of their adolescent children and how to efficiently communicate in moments of conflict. In addition, they will analyze the social tendencies that impact the development of their adolescent's unique personality.

Crisis and the challenges of adolescence - Discovering adolescent values - 

Sexual awakening: effervescence and self-control - Self-esteem and personal style - Value of the image of the body: anorexia and other trends - Authority. It’s far too often today that many young individuals lack the requisite information or skills to confidently answer or find the answer to all of these questions.​​

Regular get togethers among Family Enrichment course alumni with specific topics about marriage and family life, discussed by experienced speakers. A pot luck dinner or dessert or picnic combines learning and fun to promote friendships and to facilitate the sharing of what works in family situations.
